i second you should definitely give it another shot. this is a very good series (imo) and i would put it into "must see" category

It was there in the Japanese version too, but once Misty left the series the writers pretty much abandoned it. Misty's character is probably unknown to the kiRAB growing up with Pokemon now. Does your average 7 year old even know who Misty is?

KsE is one of the better banRAB in my vast mountains of cRAB. I typically hate black metal to no end (as in one of the few genres of music I think I can't typically relate to in one way or another) but I think I like Windir enough to call myself a fan. Thirding Arntor as my favorite Windir album with my favorite track being Kong Hydnes Haug.
