the points are credited when you return the WU to the server. but it my not show up on the stats for a wee bit. to give it time to update. it probably will run faster, but maybe not alot, since it safe mode will be using less resources. but prob isnt worth it, since u gotta restart to use it/

What a lovely conversation i've bumped in to here.... (sarcasm count 3/10) I am hoping to upgrade to Vista in about a year when I am forced to by some software I really like. It normally takes a while for new Windows releases to settle down and become stable(ish).

True, half of it is likely due to shitty driving, but I do feel this thing handles far worse than any of my friends cars. Except for Eric's late '86 Delta 88. Lock the wheel and this car barely even turns. I also come from driving an '06 Outback so I have unusually high standards.
