Oh I know that. I'm in no way doubting his talent as a guitarist -- some of the guitar work with the songs on Hypnotize and Mesmerize were amazing. Just... like already said, the songwriting/singing leaves way too much to be desired.

i like it. true, the screaming will be dearly missed, but hey, no band stays the same. i think the songs ive heard off the new album are pretty good. trashed and scattered (as you can see by my sig) is my favorite song for the time being. overall, the new songs dont dissappoint me at all...

I would much prefer 10+ minute songs. It limits the choices and means that you have to look harder for choices and actually listen to the damn things.

maybe, but that's cause he ****ed up his voice from screaming and ****. while their vocals arent that great, they have some pretty damn good hooks in their songs
