Yeah, it's mainly for the title song, but have been cranking this on overdrive since it came up on Saturday Night Rage (Local music show in which a musician chooses the music over a 3-4 hour period, normally has some classics). Love the breakdown @ ~4:30. Great clip by Cunningham as well.

That's basically how I feel about: Don't get me wrong, I still like Distortion, but it feels more like a silly noise experiment from Merritt rather than a serious, well thought out album.

Yes but the band has a style, is associated with a genre, has a distinct vocalist that people identify said band with. No doubt the producer can have a huge impact on the sound of an album, I'm just saying I'm not likely to follow a producer around because he made one band or one album sound...

I have to agree, but he's only 13 so we shouldn't rip into him too much at all. Plus points for CSS though. I think everyone should own that album. Damn great fun. Glad you liked Ulrich Schnauss too ;)

Sadly, a cross-dressing Schneizel is higher probability than a geass for him.

He has some great songs. But its kinda sparse among his entire discography. A lot of stuff just bores me. It should be said though, that as a prog fan, my idea of boring may not be on par with everyone elses idea of boring. :laughing:

I`m just doing by my own experiences. I remeraber them being in magazines like Smash Hits along with Micheal Jackson & Madonna , I remeraber them being on the same TV shows as Duran Duran & Spandau Ballet. They wrote traditional english guitar pop just like the likes of The Beatles , the Kinks...
