In my view Robert Redford was brilliant in the 1969 film. His only really good movie to date. In his favour was his willingness to go 'rugged', rough it up a bit. His subsequent roles were all pretty boys. He looked a right one! That, again in my view, was his worst career mistake.

R.I.P. :( Loved watching his films with the family in the 90's superb comic, and a genuinely nice bloke according to all accounts. Only recently purchased a set of his films hope to watch them soon

Anyone know what's happened to "The Whole Bloody Affair" (the film as originally intended, edited together into a whole). Last I heard was in March when Tarantino said it would be one of the first films released by the Weinstein company, and that it would definitely receive an NC-17 certificate...

Sensitive souls shouldn't be watching films like Scum :eek::) Scum is a favourite of mine, I've sene it so many times over the years maybe I've become a little desensitised to the greenhouse scene. Irreversible affected me deeply, I'll never watch that god-forsaken film again. I thought it was...

Wow, just found out this is now a musical in London. It looks really good. Marc Warren, Leslie Sharp and Diana Vickers are in it so quite a good line-up. The movie was amazing with Jane Horrocks. However, i wasn't sure where to put this as there isn't a music section ha. :)
