    Scars

I assume you are referring to scars that are indented. If so, I suggest you look into two over the counter products Epidermx microderrabrasion and Silkia camellia oil. I had pitted scars from acne, and I used these products on them with great results, after faithful use of more than a year. My...

has anybody ever used one of these home remedies?

Honey has antiseptic healing properties for acne. Apple cider vinegar helps fade red marks. Both are good to use.

    Acne Redness

For redness Eucerin has a Redness Relief line of products including cleansers and lotions that are pretty good. You can also use aspirin mask and Queen Helene Mint Julep Mask. For pitted scars, try Silkia camellia oil and Epidermx which is an at-home microdermabrasion cream. I had pretty deep...

Is there a choice besides BP?

Salicylic acid is a good alternative. Neutrogena and Clearasil have good products with this ingredient.

    Painful clogged pores

Use a good 2% BHA (also known as salicylic acid) toner and/or cleanser. Many drugstore branRAB like Neutrogena have it. You can also use home made aspirin mask which will help. Just dissolve 2-3 aspirins in a few drops of water and leave on your forehead for about 15 minutes and wash off. Do it...

Camella oil and epidermx after 8 months

Yay! That's great! These Silkia camellia oil and Epidermx stuff are really my life savers. My indents (about 2mm deep) are filled up thanks to them. It did take a long time - after a year, but really worth it at the end, especially given that it didn't cost me a lot of money.

how to widen the skin pores

I'm puzzled by the question. I think everyone wants small and invisbile skin pores. You want to widen them and make them big?

    Help!

I got mine at Walgreens. CVS and Target may have it too. Small red marks took 2 -3 weeks to fade. Darker and bigger marks took about 2 months.

Word of advice: DO NOT EVER POP YOUR ZITS!

My plan of attack was to use BP or Queen Helene Mint Julep Mask. They would dry up the zits fast and so there's no need for popping.

    retin-a or tazorac

I love Retin-A, haven't used Tazorac. Judging by some of my frienRAB' experience, Tazorac is better if your acne is on the severe side.

    Asprin Mask

Just make sure you only add a bit of water to form a paste. You can also add plain yogurt to thicken the paste.

    Sun

I found the sun may be good in drying out the pimples but it made my post pimple red spots redder and take longer to fade. I'd wear a sunscreen when I go out. I like the Neutrogena Dry Touch sunscreen. It doesn't feel greasy.

    Retin-A?

I love Retin-A. It worked very well for me. But I never had severe acne and just used it to spot treat. You don't need a prescription. There are some online stores you can buy from without a prescription. Just do a search.

    acne

Ice it for 10 - 15 minutes, then apply BP (Benzoyl Peroxide) and a retinoid like Retin-A. Alternate them every hour. Apply a sulphur product like Queen Helene Mint Julep Mask overnight.

    Acne on my neck/jawline.

You make it yourself. Get some generic aspirin tablets from a drugstore. Mesh 4 or 5 (or more if you have a large problem area to cover) and add a few drops of water to dissolve. Make sure it's just a bit of water, so it's not too runny and forms the paste. Leave the paste on the face for 10 to...

    Treatment Question

I don't know about fiancea but it could get worse before getting better with Tazorac. I think you are going through the ugly phase where all the hidden dirts in the skin are being brought to the surface. Hang in there.

    Silkia Camellia Oil

I really don't know why you got yours NOT in original packaging and all taped up. Where did you get it from? I've bought numerous bottles over the past two years and every bottle was in its original packaging and arrived in mint condition, not taped up or anything like that. I doubt you got the...

    Obsessive Picker: NEED HELP STOPPING!

I can relate. I was a bad picker too and that's why I got quite a few deep indents. Nowadays the way I keep myself from doing it is to use either the aspirin mask or Queen Helene Mint Julep Mask - with a mask on the face I can't pick as much. Then when the zits are gone down I apply Polysporin...

after finishing accutane how long do i have to wait for a chemical peel

You can start with a lactic acid peel which is more gentle than glycolic acid peel. I think the lactic acid starts with 30%, then 40% and 50%. You can find it on many websites and get more info there. I can't give you the link here. TCA is Trichloroacetic Acid. It's strong because it can...
