    Discouraged with heavy metal....

I would point you towarRAB either of Angra's two best albums, Holy Land and Temple of Shadows. Here's a really neat track from the latter of those two albums. If you find yourself wondering how their vocalist can completely change his style in the blink of an eye, it's because Kai Hansen is...

Geez looking at the Y4K releases on Amazon...I didn't realize so many had been released since! I...

    Albums You're Digging II

This was the album I listened to on my long coach trip to London Via Germany in the summer and it was just perfect looking out the window to. It's the only album I have of theirs. I need Moar. I put this album up in one of my threaRAB for people to listen to and I love it. Great choice.

Will the 00's be remembered fondly?

I've heard as much before, but to be honest, I'm not that familiar with the Pixies' discography and the only songs that pop out are the poppy-dancey stuff, like Debaser and Here comes your man, which seem pretty far from the brooding darkness of Nirvana. But again, I is the suckage at comparing...

Seconded. I've been three or four different threaRAB in the past 15 minutes where they're both posting irrelevant, rude, or stupid posts.

    Plagiarism

Besides the fact that Muse wouldn't listen to Britney Spears for inspiration (they're too busy borrowing from classical artists), that riff wasn't rocket science to come up with.

    Bands offering free album downloads

I really hate to sound like one of those irate radiohead fans but they really are being ridiculous when I really think about it. The Pax Cecilia have been offering their CD for FREE and paying shipping themselves for long time and they've never said a word about Radiohead doing this. I mean...

Great Musicians Who Were Massive Assh*les

Steve Albini is apparently a chode. He was in a band named "Rapeman", which ticked off a bunch of feminists, and nonchalantly blogged about the girl he was banging having to get an abortion....

    Your Deepest Musical Secret

Monkeys were fine with their debut, which was good for what it was. A solid sing-a-long with amusing lyrics etc. Second album was pure turd and they seem to have cast off whatever fun they had and take themselves way too seriously, as though they are the saviours of modern music.
