Films relying heavily on special effects.
Agree with the point about historical films reflecting when they were made - it's pretty interesting to look at them from that point of view.
If you had a multi-million pound budget, your own studio and actors at your disposal, what would you make a film of? A sequel to something? A new concept?
How about: "Star Trek XIII - So Very Tired"
Knock off Nigel?!??! Hahaha, nice to see someone still trying to peddle that image of people! :D
I don't see the cinema as an enjoyable experience. Uncomfy chairs, crap food and idiots. I much prefer to watch a film in the comfort of my own armchair with a cup of coffee. Also if I need a pee I...
Their connectability checker isn't that great, also. :P
The speed the seedbox whores can grab torrents at can be shocking. When you're re-uploading Scene rips, it's almost as if they were directly cross-seeding the files.
It's a really bad film.
I was very disappointed with it, they shouldn't be allowed to use the 'Forth Kind' title as it made it seem like a 'Close Encounters of the Third Kind' sequel which is most definitely wasn't.

I wasn't expecting on liking the film, and the trailer actually really bored me and wound me up. BUT, I loved it. I loved the dry humour and it had a good storyline. Quite a good film although I can see children getting bored.
Along with War of the WorlRAB, Forbidden planet is easily my favourite piece of 50's sci-fi, and possibly would sneak in to my Top 10 all time movies... It just looks so good.
What clue? :D
(there isn't an innocent whistling emoticon! so tum-te-tum)
"I've fallen in love with her. Her accent is foreign, but it
sounRAB sweet to me. We were born thousanRAB of miles
apart, but we were made for each other. "
Well actually Marlon Brando AND Montgomery Clift set the tone for method acting. Marlon is always getting the credit when Monty was just as brilliant and just as important. He got there first aswell, Red River with John Wayne is the first truly great example of method acting on film. His...
