You can try ebay or craigslist. Even the shell of a Supra will be expensive because they are rare and highly sought after. You will end up spending many thousands of dollars either way to get it running.
I would recommend getting a different car, you're probably young aren't you? I doubt you...
The seller is the last person you should trust. Bring someone who knows cars or take it to a garage or mechanic for them to look at. If the seller refuses - he's hiding something so stay away. How much does he want?
Good luck!
Intake,Full Exhaust, Tires, Rims. I would stop there, I wouldn't get a body kit as it will probably look cheesy. Keep it simple, worry about performance more than looks and remember customizing cars is an expensive hobby.

I would say a Viper is more expensive to maintain. Corvettes are generally much cheaper depending on year and condition. I wouldn't put a Viper in the same category as a Ferrari, but definitely not a cheap car to own.
Junkyard, Ebay, Craigslist. If you take it to a Toyota Dealership you might be able to get them installed. It will cost 500+ for parts and installation at a dealer. If you can find and install them yourself then you can probably get it done for under $100.
Im not too familiar with Rotary setups but it's definitely a fuel issue. Sounds like the engine is running lean? I don't think the cooling temp. sensor would have anything to do with that, but like I said, not an expert with rotarys. I would take it to a Mazda dealership to have it looked at, as...

You pretty much got all the basics down. After that you could go with some ECU tuning and a new suspension setup. If you get into more serious modding you could look into driveline and brake upgrades.

I wouldn't recommend it if you can't even find them. You wouldn't pay too much to get it done right at a shop. Better than risking your engine because you did it wrong.
Good luck!
Get a second opinion from a different mechanic. The computer isn't the first thing I would check with a bad battery and alternator. It could be many other (much cheaper) problems.
