    Can your location be tracked via cellphone?

    any cellphone can b tracked. If u want to avoid detection, u need to take the battery out. The minute u put the battery back in, even if the phones off, it still sends a signal to find the nearest tower, ull b detectable again. Best of luck in ur 'off the grid' experience, stay safe..

    Maybe try going to ur contacts and messaging settings and see if u can change them; move ur contacts to ur memory card, and change ur memory settings to save all msgs to the card too. Im not familiar with ur phone, but maybe try downloading netqin mobile guard, it can clean ur phone of hidden...
