    I agree with Adam and Sleepy.....with so many different forks out now that HD uses...even I can't remember how much in every one. GET A MANUAL!!!......FACTORY....Manual....STAY AWAY FROM HAYNES AND CLYMER, they are CRAP!!!

    Unfortunately...NO, it is not possible to rubber mount a pre-04 Sporty. The only way to do it is to use the engine to do a complete custom built bike using a rubber mounted aftermarket frame, the total job would cost well over what you are paying for the Sporty, around $15k if you want it done...

    Old School's answer is a VERY good one. I would like to add this though.....ANY factory plans they have are being put on hold for the time being..... HD has TOTALLY shut down all production from Oct-Jan.....the ONLY bikes that will be built are by special order from the dealers.
