The FXDFSE is a Fat BOB (Dyna Family)..... a Fat BOY is a Softail. Not sure of actual dealer cost, it varies slightly by the model, but dealer cost is is on the average of $1500-2000 UNDER MSRP (but with the economy hurting their sales so badly, most dealers are dropping their prices...

Old School's answer is a VERY good one. I would like to add this though.....ANY factory plans they have are being put on hold for the time being..... HD has TOTALLY shut down all production from Oct-Jan.....the ONLY bikes that will be built are by special order from the dealers.
