Will Harley Davidson Softail Heritage exhaust pipes fit my Softail Custom?

They SHOULD work just fine, the Customs & Heritages use the same header and brackets, it's just the mufflers that were different. Are the pipes on-line? Can you send a link so I could see them, just to be sure? The older Screamin Eagle pipes were not that great for performance, they sound ok...

Where can I buy a Harley Davidson fuel filter?

Andy is correct.....HD's FI fuel filters are proprietary to HD only. I will also add this....if your original filter has disintegrated or comes out in pieces...you should plan on replacing the fuel pump as well, the particles from the filter will destroy the pump and clog the injectors. Do it...

How many miles can you get out of a Harley Davidson?

Damn!!!....FINALLY...someone that actually rides!!! With PROPER and regualr maintenance, you should be good to go for over a 100k more. I had a 86 Softail with 197k in 94 on it (and the ORIGINAL belt) when the chassis gave out, the engine only had one top end job done at around 100k and it was...

Did I really flood my 1998 Harley Davidson Fatboy?

EDIT:.....I saw your addition to Firestorm....YES....your lights can and will still work with a low battery. The lights draw very little voltage and current (approx 10-15 amps MAX) from the battery to light up, however, the starter draws ALOT, if the battery is low, not having full available...

harley davidson? boyd coddington rims on my 99 custom softail. are these rims rare

Boyds Wheels are rare to be seen on bikes. Boyd Coddington MAINLY designed wheels for cars, but did have several designs for bikes. What do i need to know when chosing bars for my bike?

Narrow means that the bars are specically made for HD's "narrow glide" front end, the 39mm forked front ends found on Sportsters and earlier Dynas. The pull back is how far back the handlebars ends pull back towards you from the center line of the riser. Extendeding the bar heaight will mean you...

i have a 2003 harley davidson motorcycle will not fire/spark.?

First,....how old is the battery??? If it is dead, and more than 2 years old, you will be best off buying a new battery. Stick with HD!!!....they are a LITTLE more pricey than an after market battery, but MUCH MUCH higher in quality. HD uses AGM style batteries (Absorbed Glass Mat), they come...

I have a manual for a 2003 Harley Davidson Dyna, can i use it for a 97 Dyna?

In all honesty...if you are asking this question, (I hate to sound rude), but you don't have a clue and should not be touching anything on your bike. The 97 Dyna was powered by the EVO engine...HD stopped using that engine in 99 on the Dyna's and changed over to the Twin Cam engine. They also...

    1975 Harley Davidson Shovelhead question?

No HD's, except for the V-Rod, have CRANKCASE oil capacitites. They are a Dry-Sump system that use remote oil tanks. If you don't know this, or the capacties, or where the different fluids go........you don't need to be doing your own work. If you MUST do this yourself, buy a FACTORY SERVICE...

Can you rubber mount a harley davidson sportster's engine that is a pre 2004...

Unfortunately...NO, it is not possible to rubber mount a pre-04 Sporty. The only way to do it is to use the engine to do a complete custom built bike using a rubber mounted aftermarket frame, the total job would cost well over what you are paying for the Sporty, around $15k if you want it done...
