The Lady Vanishes with Cybill Shepherd and Elliott Gould turns up on TV from time to time. It's a genuine oddity, a respectful, well-intentioned remake that fails because the leading actors are completely miscast.

I have to say that i've just seen this and was amazing - didn't like the new characters at all. They all seem to be 1 dimensional but loved the film and i loved all the songs although i could tell when the songs were going to come.

Agreed, these movies do seem to be going down hill and getting more ridiculous as they go along. Its a shame because as I said above Eclipse was my fave book for action and the trailer just looks soppy!
