That's pretty common on several different bikes. It is probably NOT the switch itself but the locking pin that engages something on the forks to accomplish the "lock". Many people avoid that by not using the "lock" position. ;) A little lube (silicone ??) on the locking pin (NOT THE SWITCH)...
