I have a new Macbook Pro, and whenever I try to do a screenshot the picture just shows a gray and white checkerboard pattern. I'm using command+shift+3. (Command+shift+4 didn't work either) Is there something I'm doing wrong? This is my first Mac so I'm still getting used to it. Thanks!

My boyfriend has a road bike, and I find it nearly impossible to ride. I can ride a regular bike, no problem, but I have a very difficult time steering his. Any advice, tips, help? Thanks!
