    How is the wifi connection with the t-mobile mytouch?

    i have a tmobile mytouch and its not required for me to have the data plan. can i use the wifi connection and itd be the same as having full internet service. is it free or slower? if i dont have wifi will some apps not work? explain the whole wifi thing cus i kinda dont get it. thankss.
