The Official Michael Bolton Appreciation Thread.

I don't like Bolton, I think his songs are irritating and have made a habit of never listening to him at all, but hell, I'm not gonna be the one to deny that this is a man in possession of some serious damn talent. check out his earlier heavy metal material - some incredible riffage and a stark...

    Guilty Pleasures

I used to have an old Live Linkin Park DVD. I think it was Live in Texas or what not and I have to give them credit for that. They put on a hell of a show, and give 110%. Granted idk about there typical concerts. They probably dont give a **** if it doesnt have DVD sales.

    Marillion - Misplaced Childhood (1985)

I agree this is a very strong album, I just recently started revisiting the early Marillion material which I had enjoyed back in the day. This is my favourite album by the band. I'd say the 8.5 is about right rating wise ... might even go 9/10

    This album > that album.

Preservation Act 1 has some good stuff but 2 is pretty terrible, IMO (ranked last in my post a few days back).

Californication, Red Hot Chili Peppers, 1999 Warner Brothers

Besides the point. The implicature of the statement is a stereotype of black people as funky, or that they are somehow inherently more funky. That's a small-minded pigeonholism and a racialistic undertone. Aside from the statement implying a stereotype of black people and thus displaying...
