    When can an insurance company apply a betterment charge?

    I have a claim to repair an engine that sustained water damage. A used engine from the same model year cannot be located. The insurance company says to rebuild the engine (new core) a betterment charge will be assessed. How do I fight this?

    Would the Nikon D60 be a good camera for taking pictures of nail art?

    The price is actually more than I want to spend, but may be worth it. From the little research that I've done, this seems to be the best buy. Would you go for this one or does it have far more bells and whistles than I need for super detailed, up close pictures?
