    Does a automatic car warmup the motor and trans while its idling then a manual?

    I heard that automatics while idling warmup the engine and trans but manuals only warm up the motor is this true?

    Why is it bad to let your car warmup besides wasting gas?

    Its winter out here and temps range from 30f-negatives so i usually let me car run for 10min and then i drive is that ok? I heard more then 2min is bad for the engine and wastes alot of gas even in winter time? But i heard if your car is turbocharged u should let it idle for a couple minutes?
