I need a time consuming, interesting game that has skills and levels and similar features to WoW and runescape. It doesn't necessarily has to be medieval.

What breed would follow me around in the woods, not make too much noise, and not run after small animals or follow a scent without my permission? They also need to be able to behave in the house. I was thinking a german sheppard, and i'm pretty sure i am right, but i could use some advice just...
