    How do i overcome an aversion to small talk and chatting up people i do not know well ?

    I think it is a valuable ability to have and I feel so awkward about it that i avoid it. I guess i feel a bit obtrusive too. I think this would be a good thing to change about my personality. My main issue is this holds me back from meeting new people.
