    i have att dsl without home phone do I need ethernet cable?

    the only cords i have connected is the power cord and the phone line cord..i remember have the phone cord connected to the phone jack to the gateway att gives you. but i don't remember if i need the ethernet..my laptop receives the wireless internet, i just can't get on it cuz its asking for the...
