    How to record a drum-set?

    How do I record a simple drum sound that sounds good? Like the Velvet Underground or The Strokes style? Like a mono recording. I usin 2 instrument mics and 1 condenser mic. I hear using 3 is the best. Tips and help? Thanks, Jules.
