i just a bought a sidekick lx 2009 and there are videos on youtube showing how to unlock it well when i try that on my sidekick it wont work i get to the part authenticating sim pin then it shuts off what does that mean i need help ASAP !

okk so i just rencently bought a sidekick lx 2009 but when i got it (used) the screen or mirror image on it has flipped upside down the only way i can view the images and everything is that i HAVE to open up my sidekick ?? and its getting pretty annoying i have no idea how to fix it?? and also...
