    why isnt my sidekick slide reading my sim card?

    hi its me again i have alot of problems with this phone and im NOT bying a new one so please help me it will not read my sim card ill try to make a call but it says theres no sim card and the sim card is in there what do i do!!!!!!!!!!!! ):

    how do i brighten the backlight on the sidekick slide?

    i cant see anything on my friggin sidekick slide and i dont know what 2 du help me please!!!!!!
