How do I adjust the up and down angle of the headlights?

I'm changing the brakes, does the caliper have the twist kind of piston or the regular kind (The one that you use a G-clamp on?) I need to know so I can grab the piston return tool before I take everything apart. I AM a mechanic, so just answer the question straightforward please. Thanks.
