    1978 Ford F150 custom with modified engine. Truck not driven in 5 years. We got it

    started but.? It won't go into gear. Is there something the previous owner could have done to make sure the truck would not run or make it difficult to get it running. Its a long story. Any suggestions appreciated.

    I have a 1978 Ford Ranger F-150. It has stood without being started for

    about 5 years. Why no compression? I have removed heads and checked pistons. All appear to be in good shape. All fluids appear to be ok. Any ideas?
