    manual transmission whines?

    I just replaced a used manual transmission on a 1979 Chevy C60 and there is a whining noise now when you are driving from to get go and it slips out of 3rd gear any suggestions on what could be wrong and how to fix it.

    I Have a 1979 chevy C60 and after you pump the brakes they lose presure I changed

    the master cylinder? What is the next step to get them to work. Also when driving it you have to pump the brakes and then they lock up when you apply all the way.
