I have a 93 Toyota Camry V6 3.0, when I put it in reverse or drive the engine dies. On neutral or parking the car works fine. Does anyone know what the problem could be?

When the car isn't running the temp. of the engine is fine, but wen I strt driving the thermostat won't open & the engine will overheat. I already installed a new radiator, thermostat, cooling fan, water pump, & head gaskets.
