I was thinking about getting it but I just wanted to make sure it was worth it and it is completely free, other than the subscription fee. And will it mess up my computer?

Okay so I've had my phone with me all night. And im not with anyone. But someone told me they got 7 missed calls and 5 new msgs from me! And its my number!! They answered one of the calls and the person said it was me! Pleeease help so many people are complaining about it and I'm really freaked out!
