    Pickup problem with my guitar?

    I have an Epiphone SG-310. When the pickup is on treble the volume is fine and high.But when i turn it to rhythm it sounds way low. I have checked the wiring and it is like it's supposed to be so the problem isn't there...:/ What could this be from?

    My boyfriend has a home studio and I'm not sure what I can get him?

    Yesterday he bought a good mic and my budget is low so i'm not tryin to buy him a expensive break out box, but he told one of his friends that he needed one. I just want to get him something that makes his studio look nice. Any Ideas?
