When driving my car and pulling into my driveway in 4wheel drive the car slightly slips ( the brakes feel like snow they make a grinding noise and are harder to push down) the car also wouldn't go into four wheel drive when driving on the highway in rainy conditions. Works fine in 2 wheel drive

I have P265 70 r16 tires on my toyota 4runner. will tires that are p245 70 r16 work on my truck with out disrupting the speed or anything else?
