i took my intake off and tried taking the lifters out and they move freely but one i get them to the top of there bore they stop and wont come out maybe the bottom of the lifter is now wider im not sure is there a way off getting these out ?

my engine started making a constant ticking sound it runs fine i check the rockers but no chattering it almost sounds like its comming from under the engine i dont think it has anything to do with the tranny it comming from the left side of the engine maybe lifters ???/

i want to change my tbi to carb i was wondering with my 1994 heads can i put any sbc intake on it to fit a 4 barrel or do i have to get some type of gen 2 style intake that will fit a 4 barrel carb ?
