Can some one suggest me a reliable and a less expensive toyota mechanic in Rochester, NY area.

My '99 camry hiccups on the highway occasionally. It happened twice since the last week. The hiccups last for few seconds, things return to normal after that. The mechanic says there might be bubbles in the fuel which leads to hiccups. Is this really a problem?
