    i saw smoke kind from my toyota camry(automatic) driving uphill without changing gear?

    i was driving up the hill about 10 minute, my gear was on D for whole drive, when i reach my destination i saw some type of smoke( which looks like oil burns) which was coming somewhere from valve engine place. is it a serious problem? or due to i didn't changed the gear? plz seek a suggestion.
