    Can you put a table in the research section of a chemistry lab report?

    I'm writing a lab report about identifying an unknown mixture. The mixture will have a metal, solid powder and a liquid in it. I need to know 3 ways how to identify the metal, solid powder and the liquid, each. And i need to know instead of writing out the 3 ways if i can just put a table.
