    Is there any way for Sprint to activate a phone with a bad ESN?

    I recently bought a phone with a bad ESN and sprint said they couldn't activate it. Is there anyway to clear the ESN without the previous owner of the phone paying of the bill because i don't see why i can't use a phone even if its on a bad plan, that shouldn't affect me.
