You had apparently broke the law. Was it suppose to be a pleasant experience?
The idea is to make it humiliating so you won't return. Your human rights were not violated. You were treated as a person who was arrested was suppose to be treated.
If it is an accredited college, the police department should accept it as a credible education source.
My husband did the same through Limestone College here in SC. He is finishing his 4 year degree now.
