    HTML and CSS layout help?

    I have a layout that uses HTML and CSS. I want to have the background of the entire page be black, but have a white "stripe" running down the page in the middle, sort of like having another background. I need to set it to a certain width also. Can anybody help?

    How come nuts and beans don't get more attention as health foods?

    I know fruits and vegetables are important but so are nuts and beans. They rarely seem to get attention.
