    Should i capture a rattata in pokemon fire red and teach it the hm's rock

    smash and cut.? I think i should get a rattata don't train it at all and only use it for the hm moves rock smash and cut so i don't waist my other pokemon's move space. and only withdraw it from the computer if i need it.
