    is it a bad idea to have sex before a breakup?

    I am contemplating breaking up with my boyfriend, he lost his car and we haven't really hung out in about 2 months. Then he lost his phone so now we can barely talk. I want to see him, to decided if it's still worth it, and if I do, I might have sex with him. Do you think that's a bad idea?
