    Do I have to go to a military academy to become a commissioned officer?

    I've been reading a lot about becoming a Commissioned Officer. I have a desire to join the military, but I would not without becoming a CO. I've read about OCS, and ROTC. However, do I still have to graduate a military academy if I wanted to become a CO?

    Can I attend a normal college before going to OCS, or ROTC?

    If I wanted to go to a normal college, but still wanted to become a commissioned officer in the military, can I go to OCS or ROTC after I graduate?
