I have a 1989 FZR400, sometimes the bike would start most of the days, but recently once in a while it would just turn over but not run. Once, it wouldn't start, so I jump started it (car was turned off). I ran on the freeway for a while and didn't run it again for a week and bike still started...

I just bought this bike couple days ago, owner told me that the bike idles high with the choke on but once it start's running he turns it off as he cruises around. Was just wondering if this was normal, if not then how would I fix it? Anyone else have a fzr400 that has this "problem" or however...
