I have the andriod operating system 1.5 for my motorola backflip, i do all the steps necisary to complete them, i think im doing it right, And at the end, my phone says its up to date but its really not! please help me out heres the site...

I was on the phone, it was at about 16% then it just randomly dropped to 0% and it shut off, so i plugged it in my charge and nothing is happening. The LED light is lighting up and the motorola logo appears but it doesnt charge. Please help asap!!!
