    late 90's ford car question?

    i have a ford contour and when i put the car in to gear while it is cold it boggs down but doesn't shut off, then when i accelerate it has no power, and when i hit third gear it abnormally losses rpm's then shakes violently then when i give it some more gas it stops.     tires fore going thought mud and sand in a toyota truck?

    I have a truck with 32" Mickey Thompson Baja claws which has wicked tread and is good in Mud and Sand i used to have BFGoodrich Mudterrain's either one there both good.
