You may be correct. I have always taken for granted that a tag light was required.

Actually just figured out I was doing it wrong, I set it according to the manual and it is working correctly now!

I'm not even sure I did it right haha. How do you do it? I lowered the gain? Or something? It lowered the volume so I figured I did it right. But it was in the middle and I lowered it like...a few notches lower.

4 day ago truck was started, ran about 1 minute and died, will not run. Has spark, will not turn on fuel pump relay. Jumped the fuel pump relay and pump works fine. Still no start. The PCM will not run the pump or the injectors. What sensor(s) could cause this no start condition? Yes, checked...

Most likely it is the switch since both will not move on the "down" command.
