You have awesome taste, first of all. :) I'd suggest checking out Black Moth Super Rainbow, if you haven't already. Their music has that spacey, electronic feel I think you might be into.. or better yet get one of Tobacco's solo albums.. he's pretty much carried the band from the beginning...

I don't know if its because I have a huge bias in favor of both Black Sabbath and Dead Kennedys but I find both of those covers to be insulting when compared to their source material. KMFDM's cover of Material Girl is probably the best cover ever.

I don't think Radiohead even pretended it wasn't anything more than a marketing tool. It's no coincidence that they took the download option off as soon as you could buy the album.

I would probably agree with that. If you like Minor Threat lyricly you might like The Faith if you like Minor Threat sonicly you might like Void or Urban Waste.

Not entirely overlooked: Travis. If 'Invisable Band' had'nt been so bad, they would have done better. Coldplay's 'Parachutes' was a better album released the same year. But 'The Man Who' is better than the bulk of Coldplay's output to date. The search for: "A kinder, gentler, Radiohead" (RS)...
