    how do i change my stereo off of preset mode to manual mode without the remote?

    on tuner mode, it is set to the preset channels i programmed, but i lost the remote and some of those channels are out of service. how can i get it to search for all the channels without the remote, i have a sony mxc-9900 or something like that
