2005 Pontiac Grand Prix....No heat, can you tell me why?

96-99 Chevy Cavalier Z24.......?
If I am not mistaken, are the Chevy Cavalier Z24's from 1996 to 1999 exactly the same...IE...engine (2.4L), lights, bumper, etc.?? I need a little imput because I am trying to buy a 1996 for parts to fix up my 1998. Thanks.
