I made my sons graduation announcements a couple of years ago, but I can't remember how I did it! Now I need to do mine. I remember I took a picture and typed the information on the pic itself. Do you need a special program to do this? How do you change the background of the picture?

This an exam question, so I don't want anything I can copy...just some ideas on what to search for on the internet :( I am at a total loss! In fact...lots of guys I know still dance!
